There are many places in Tokyo that grow ginkgo on both sides of the street. When the weather becomes colder the ginkgo green leaves will turn into beautiful bright golden trees tunnels like fine painting.
There are 146 ginkgo trees along both sides of the street.
The most convenience way to travel there is to take JR Yamanote Line to Harajuku Station, then take Tokyo Metro Ginza Line to Gaien–Mae or Aoyama-Icchome Station.
Free of charge in seeing this tunnel.

Meiji Jingu Gaien
There are 106 ginkgo trees here that grow along both sides of the 200 meters walking in this park.
Showa Koen is on the west of Tokyo. You can take JR Chou Line [Rapid] from JR Shinjuku Station to Tachikawa Station. Then it takes about 10 minutes by foot from the station.
Park fee: 450 JPY
Showa Kinen Park
Here there are about 760 ginkgo trees along side of the street, which is about 4 kilometers length.
You can take JR Chuo Line [Rapid] from JR Shinjuku Station to Nishi–Hachioji Station or Takao Station.
