Try being Ninja at Nikko Edo Wonderland (Miniature Town in Edo Age)

Nikko is famous for the beauty of nature. Tourists are always impressed by its beauty every time of visiting.
In addition to its nature, Nikko has another place. Nikko Edo Wonderland is a theme park that reproduces the surroundings and buildings of Edo period houses, palaces and temples. (The ancient capital of Japan from 1603 to 1868, now Tokyo).
There are many theatres here, e.g. Ninja Fighting, Geisha Cabaret, Oiran Courtesan Procession and other shows of Japanese culture in old times.
There are many activities to try being Edo citizen such as being Samurai or Ninja(child), Miniature Ninja House, Labyrinth, Haunted House, experienced in Senbei(Rice crackers) Toasting or Fabric Dyeing Workshop, etc.

In the open space outdoor there are many stalls including food and souvenir stalls. And the most special of all is that tourists can try on ninja or samurai clothes.

Travelling:
It takes about 2 hours from JR Shinjuku station by JR Nikko Limited Express.
There is a free shuttle bus from JR Nikko Station (Not from Tobu Nikko Station).
